In 2016, Davies Lane was awarded teaching school status making them one of four in Waltham Forest. The teaching school is currently leading and co-ordinating Waltham Forest’s Primary Challenge; the Reading Project and are in the process of recruiting their first cohort of Schools Direct teachers.
